NCP leader Nawab Malik's son in law Sameer Khan under NCB lens



In the wake of the NCB’s many searches, including on some high-profile individuals, Maharashtra minister and NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik claimed on Thursday that the anti-drugs agency had “malafide motives” and is using “selective leaks” to frame people. Mr Malik further stated at a news conference that his son-in-law Sameer Khan, who was recently given bail in a drugs case after nine months, will petition the high court to have the accusations against him by the Narcotics Control Bureau quashed (NCB). In January of this year, the NCB arrested Sameer Khan in connection with an alleged drug case. Last month, he was released on bail.
