COVID-19: Schools Minister on plans to change how schools cope with coronavirus

The Schools Minister Nick Gibb spoke to Sky’s Kay Burley about the plans schools are looking to put in place for the new English school term in September.

As well as revising plans for wearing masks, there are plans to revise the practice of isolating the entire class when one student tests positive for COVID.

In a wide-ranging interview, he also spoke about the harassment of the Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty and the practice of ministers using private email accounts for government business.
