Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng said it is not easy for China to move from carbon peak to carbon neutrality with 1.4 billion people, in an interview with the Associated Press on climate change and China-U.S. relations.

Le also pointed out that it will take developed countries 50 to 60 years to achieve these targets, but China is aiming to do this within 30 years.
