US races ahead with vaccination, all Americans eligible by April 19

Despite bungling its initial response to the pandemic, the United States is making up for lost time with its vaccination programme. More than 168 million people have now received at least one Covid-19 jab, with the country averaging 3.5 million shots per day, and half of those aged over 65 now fully vaccinated. As FRANCE 24 correspondent Kethevane Gorjestani reports, President Joe Biden now says all adults will be eligible to receive the shot from April 19.
