Federal, state and territory governments agreed this week to a historic overhauling of the Closing the Gap targets, first laid out by the Rudd Government in 2008

Indigenous leaders say the deal was hard-fought, but Prime Minister Scott Morrison says he’s confident the new targets will deliver generational change.
