Victoria has recorded its biggest daily increase in COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began, with 317 new cases recorded.

Victorian hospital staff say they’re preparing to enact emergency plans to help deal with the outbreak.

Meanwhile in New South Wales, authorities are concerned that the source of three new coronavirus cases are not yet known.
