China vows to boost cooperation with Central Asia in pace up economic recovery

China says it will boost cooperation with Central Asia in the fight against COVID-19 to push forward economic recovery and improve regional security. Top diplomats from China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan reached the agreement in a video conference. Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi called for efforts to strengthen multilateralism and oppose bullying and intimidation. He also called for speeding up infrastructure and security projects under the Belt and Road Initiative.
