Assam Floods: 51 wild animals die at Kaziranga National Park, 100 rescued

The unfortunate floods that have wreaked havoc in Assam, has killed nine more people due to floods. The death toll has now reached 59 in the state. It is reported that 26 people have died due to landslides, which has taken the overall toll as a result of the floods and landslides since May to 85 deaths. As per the sources, river Brahmaputra is flowing above the danger mark in Guwahati, Kaziranga, Morigaon, Nalbari, and Barpeta. Around 51 animals also lost their lives in Kaziranga National Park due to the floods. The situation is critical for both people and the government
28 districts are going through the havoc. Hajo Circle in Kamrup district in Assam is considered as one of the worst-hit areas in Assam.
