Domicile status for Dalits in J&K; Left opposes, says the move is to upset Kashmir's demography

In order to grant domicile to Dalits in Jammu and Kashmir, new rules by CPI(M) are an RSS plot to end Muslim majority in the state. Via their mouthpiece they started saying that this is a move to upset Kashmir’s demography, the nee rules allow domicile for residents of over 15 years. The question that left parties is raising now on the domicile matter of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. As per the new rules, anyone who has been a resident of the territory for more than 15 years, will now be getting the status of domicile as a resident of the state. Local political parties are against the move to grant domicile status to Dalits in Jammu and Kashmir, according to them, this move is backed by BJP and RSS ideology only to change the demography of the state.
