The NSW Government will close the state border with Victoria as coronavirus cases continue to surge in Melbourne.
From midnight Tuesday/Wednesday night, no cross-border movement will be allowed, except in special cases.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian was joined at a press conference in Sydney by Health Minister Brad Hazzard, NSW Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant, and Police Commissioner Mick Fuller.
