How do college students from rural areas study online amid COVID-19?

This spring semester, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all Chinese students have had to stay home for months. Many schools started online courses, making smartphones and computers necessary tools for e-learning. Jishishan County used to be one of the 23 counties in extreme poverty in northwest China’s Gansu Province. Can students who live there successfully complete their studies?
