Galwan Martyr Ganesh Hansda, the 21-year-old Sepoy was among the 20 soldiers who were martyred at Galwan valley in the Eastern Ladakh region during a faceoff against China’s People’s Liberation Army. He had barely spent 2 years in the Army but his supreme sacrifice is not just a matter of pride for his family but for the entire village. His 2 dreams remain unfulfilled, one was to build a concrete house for his parents and the other to make his culture go beyond the boundaries of his village.
While speaking to the media, Hansa’s brother spoke about his brothers love for their mother tongue Santhali and how he wished to revive this language. Watch the video to know more!
