A day after exposing sensational Congress-China donation gate, Times Now unearths a new angle in this investigation by accessing documents which prove that the Indian National Congress was in a hurry to close the RCEP deal.
The latest evidence suggests that following donation and MOU signing, Congress was in a hurry to close regional, comprehensive, economic partnership deal. Back in 2010, negotiations on the RCEP began and the UPS signed the document in 2011, which is nearly five years ahead of the deadline. Congress’ Anand Sharma signed this file.
Except for China, Congress has FTAs or is negotiating one with all other ASEAN countries.
Is there a link between China’s donation to Rahul Gandhi Foundation and Congress’ eagerness to go through with RCEP which could have benefitted China more?
