The road to becoming a deer king is not easy. In east China’s Jiangsu Province, an intense battle for “love” among milu deer is taking place. The milu deer, also known as Père David’s deer, is native to China, where it enjoys national first-class protection. The deer has the neck of a horse, the tail of a donkey, horns of a buck and hooves of an ox.
