London mayoral candidate defends rising COVID-19 cases

London mayoral candidate Shaun Bailey believes people in the capital are taking social distancing “seriously” despite a recent rise in coronavirus cases.

When asked by Sophy Ridge if there could be a spike in cases following the Black Lives Matter protests, Mr Bailey said: “I think we could see a spike in cases anyway”, noting that in previous pandemics there has been a second wave of cases.
