Maha CM Uddhav Thackeray visit Alibaug to review the aftermath of Cyclone Nisarga

The Maharashtra Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray visits Alibaug to take the stock of the situation due to the aftermath of Cyclone Nisarga. He along with his officials is trying to assess the damaged that occurred due to the storm. The Cyclone made its landfall on Alibaug ruining several properties, electrical poles, uprooting trees, etc; it also caused several deaths of animals, there have been no fatalities as of now. State government officials said four people suffered injuries. However, property worth several crores was damaged. An inter-ministerial central team is expected to visit Maharashtra to ascertain the extent of damage as Centre is soon expected to announce relief package, but CM Uddhav himself visited the district to review the damage.
