On India Upfront with Rahul Shivshankar tonight, Slow but gradual increase in Coronavirus cases in Delhi to the point now where Delhi is in the top three in the country with regards to COVID-19. But the figure that is causing a great amount of concern is the spiralling death rate in the Union Capital.
Delhi today has a death rate at 29.72%. India’s average death rate is 4.25% and the other states where 150+ cases have been detected between April 6th to June 2nd. In the data, you can see that over a period time there has been a huge jump in the number for Delhi in just a period of 10 days.
We ask: What’s behind Delhi death spike?
