The wind has started taking up and the drizzle has also intensified in Mumbai’s Marine Drive. As far as the storm is concerned a rise in water level can be seen at the sea. In a few hours, it is expected that the water level will rise to the stone as it usually happens during the monsoon. The administration is also on red alert especially in 4 districts of Maharashtra, i.e, Palghar, Thane, Raigad, and Mumbai. Till now, 19,000 people have been evacuated across the state so far. Several teams of NDRF have also been stationed for any emergency evacuation across the coastal line of the state.
