NDTV’s Rohit Khilnani reports from Mumbai’s Bandra where the strong cyclonic winds have left behind a trail of devastation after Cyclone Nisarga made landfall in Alibaug around 1 PM. Trees have fallen in almost all lanes of Khar and Bandra in the western suburbs, some ven blocking the gates of housing societies. Residents and guards of some housing complexes are trying to move the fallen trees while most will have to wait for the civic officials to remove them. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and the Mumbai Police have urged people to stay indoors and have warned of possible disruptions in power and water supply in the city.
