China’s top civil aviation authority has released the report of an investigation into a near-death experience for some 120 passengers on a Sichuan Airlines flight back in May 2018. The crew experienced a terrifying moment, when the windshield of the plane broke mid-flight, forcing an emergency landing in Chengdu. China’s Civil Aviation Administration said the most likely cause was a crack on the seal of the right windshield caused by internal and external pressure.
