Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting with the Union Cabinet Minister today to discuss three key proposals. Times Now accessed exclusive details from government sources of the meeting agenda and its key point for discussions. The cabinet will work to create modalities for the implementation of the two economic relief packages worth almost 20,000 crores and the second of 50,000 crores. The agriculture minister is expected to make announcements regarding a possible extension to short term loans given to farmers and others in the sector. Ahead of the Kharif season, to increase the minimum selling price (MSP) of crops, some measures are expected to be announced as a relief to farmers.
