After 9 individuals died on-board in Shramik trains, railways issue an appeal to avoid travel if you are seriously ill.
There are appeal going out to the migrants who are taking Shramik trains, if they are suffering from any serious ailment, they are being requested to not board the Shramik specials.
The appeal has been issued on an official letter on May 17th, but today it has been released to the press. An advisory has been issued to all the migrant laborers who have been traveling on the Shramik specials. The advisory includes certain guidelines which include: If they have hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, pregnant women, they should not travel in railways. Even children below 10 years of age should also avoid getting on-board.
