Haryana-Delhi border sealed amid rising Coronavirus cases; Essential services allowed

Amid the rising cases of Coronavirus in the state, the Haryana Government has decided to seal the Delhi – Gurugram border. However, people engaged in essential services will be allowed to cross and enter the national capital. The decision comes in the backdrop of the sharp rise in COVID-19 cases, especially in the Gurugram and Faridabad city area. Check posts and barricades will be set up to curb the movement of people. The border witnessed heavy traffic jams after the decision was made late last evening by the government announced by Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij, following which chaos at the border ensued.
