On The Newshour Debate, Centre challenges the Uddhav Thackeray government in Maharashtra.
Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has said that there will be 125 trains for migrant workers in the state of Maharashtra and that the Uddhav Thackeray government should identify and give a list of all migrants who would be on these trains to the Centre.
The Maharashtra government has claimed to have given a list of 200 trains to the Indian Railways.
There seems to be completely two different sets of the position taken by both the Central government – the railways in this case and the Aghadi government. However, the last tweet by Railway Minister Piyush Goyal also shed some light on their position.
In another dig at the Maharashtra Chief Minister, Goyal said: “Hopefully, after coming to the station, trains do not have to go back empty, as what happened earlier.”
