Domestic flight operations began earlier today at the Bengaluru Kempegowda international airport. While the procedure for departures is quite different, it’s the arrivals that are leaving travellers in a dizzy. Compulsory institutional for those arriving from high-risk states is not making arrival at KIA a pleasant experience for many. The passengers boarding have to compulsory so under quarantine for 7 days in institutional isolation wards as a safety measure to curb the pandemic outbreak. A COVID-19 test will also be conducted for these passengers once boarded at the destination. Social distancing and other lockdown norms are also being followed.
