Cyclone Amphan ravaged 70% of West Bengal's population | Ground report | #IndiaForBengal

7 districts of West Bengal have been devastated. While 70% of the population in West Bengal has been affected directly by Cyclone Amphan, the rest have been indirectly affected by it. Mamata Banerjee Government assesses 1 crore houses destroyed, 7 crores has suffered one or another loss. CM Mamata Banerjee has been asked the people frustrated by the effects of the cyclone to rebuild West Bengal. 1,000 teams along with Indian Army have been deployed for restoration work in the state.

The state government has acknowledged TIMES NETWORK’s initiative India for Bengal & CM Mamata Banerjee has requested people to open their hearts & a contribution of 1 rupee can bring a smile on someone’s face.
