Coronavirus: Children at risk of dying from treatable illnesses as parents avoid appointments

The Great Ormond Street Hospital has seen a dramatic drop in the number of patients. Now, paediatricians fear children in the UK will die from treatable illnesses, due to parents avoiding face-to-face medical appointments during the pandemic. 

And doctors are worried they won’t be able to cope with a surge in demand when the coronavirus crisis is over.
