Violent clashes erupted between students and police on the second anniversary of Sebastian Pinera’s presidency in Chile, Wednesday, March 12.
Demonstrators in the capital of Santiago called for Pinera’s resignation.
Chileans also commemorated the South American country’s return to democracy 30 years ago.
Pinera, suffering the abysmal approval rating of 6%, said he would not quit the presidency until he finishes his term in 2022. (AP)
