Johns Hopkins University in the United States is tracking the coronavirus outbreak around the world, based on WHO figures, and infection numbers released by governments.
The big red circles over China, and the epicentre of the outbreak – Wuhan, indicate where most cases are.
Outside Asia, the other major infection concentrations are in the Middle East, mainly Iran, and Europe, chiefly Italy.
Overall, almost 100,000 people have caught the coronavirus, 55,000 have recovered, and 3,300 have died.
Wuhan, along with its surrounding province, remains in lockdown.
Rahatullah Khan, a medical student who has been in quarantine in an apartment in Wuhan since January 22, talks to Al Jazeera.
