Briton Christopher Le Brun has been celebrated as a painter, printmaker and sculptor since the early 1980s. He was also president of the Royal Academy of Arts from 2011 to 2019. On November 5, 2019, his first solo exhibition opened in Shanghai, themed at Diptych, a work consisting of two painted or carved panels hinged together. Why does he use this format of art? He shares his views in the interview with CGTN’s Icon.
