The world’s political and business leaders are gathering in the Swiss snow-covered mountain town of Davos. This year’s World Economic Forum annual meeting will he held January 21-24, with the theme of “Stakeholders for a Cohesive and Sustainable World.” Marking its 50th anniversary this year, the annual jamboree is expected to be a bigger affair, addressing the most pressing issues of our time. Tian Wei spoke to David Aikman, WEF’s chief representative officer in China, who explains how Davos, after five decades, still remains relevant in providing solutions for a changing world.
