Pro-democracy pilot grounds himself to fight for Hong Kong | The World

Jeremy Man-ho Tam was a Cathay Pacific pilot for 18 years but quit his job to protect the airline from being politically attacked by Beijing because he was part of the pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong.

Mr Tam, who is also a member of Hong Kong’s Legislative Council, told The World Australian businesses like Qantas are vulnerable to political pressure from the Chinese Government.
