Tobias Adrian, the Director of the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the IMF, says China’s macro-economy remains stable despite the slight downturn. The IMF also says the temporary deal China and the U.S. reached last week amid the trade war will prevent more loss to the global economy. Managing director Kristalina Georgieva said on Thursday that the truce can reduce global GDP loss by 0.2 percent.
