This is where Hurricane Doriane made landfall the east of Grand Bahama, the fourth largest island in the Bahamas.It’s eight days after the island was hit and it’s still in ruins.This village has recieved practically no aid at all.Leon Manings home was left seriously damaged.

French Popular Relief, an NGO that fights poverty will soon provide Leon with mattresses Many villages here are now cut off and isolated…while the roads are very damaged.

This village called High Rocks had 250 inhabitants before the hurricaneRon Smith is working carefully through the rubbleHis brother is believed to have died after getting dragged out by the ocean.Many others are considered to be missing but are presumed dead.

These oil reservoirs just outside the village were also damaged by the hurricanecausing major spillagesThese residents of Grand Bahama gathered outside the airport…they just want to leave.
French Popular Relief have left the island but have called for aid to brought to the people of Grand Bahama
