The first Chinese-Australian woman elected to the House of Representatives is under pressure after the ABC revealed she was a member of organisations linked to the Chinese Communist Party.
In a messy TV interview, Gladys Liu denied her association, but changed her story less than 24 hours later.
The ABC can reveal Gladys Liu’s Chinese connections raised an alert with ASIO.
