On The Newshour Debate with Navika Kumar tonight, Crumbling infrastructure in maximum city back in focus. A 30-year-old building collapses leading to several casualties, ten people losing their lives and there’s a system that is so rudderless that nobody wants to take responsibility or be accountable for it. As of tonight, ten people have been crushed to death but the government is clueless. Its preposterous that the government officials did not even have a clue initially about the details of the building because the building never existed on their plans yet it stood there for 30 years for the blind States begging notice. This is murder, not a mishap. State sleeps, agencies spar. Who will take responsibility? Listen in.
