Next week marks 50 years since man first walked on the moon.
It remains the most famous moment in the history of space exploration. As well as a landmark for NASA, it’s also a gigantic event in the lives of a generation of Australian scientists and engineers.
Andy Park spoke to the men who were at “The Dish” in Parkes on that historic day, about the role they played in sharing the Apollo 11 moon landing with the world.
