One of the leaders of Sudan’s pro-democracy protest movement warns that urgent action is needed to stop Sudan becoming another Libya or Syria.
More than 120 people lost their lives in the assault against protesters who are campaigning for a civilian government, according to the Sudanese Doctors Committee.
They also claimed that the bodies of 40 were dumped in the Nile River.
Sudan’s ruling military council has apologised for its troops shooting at protesters in the capital – killing 120 people.
