Austria is without a leader, after a no-confidence vote forced right-wing Chancellor Sebastian Kurz to step down.
Opposition parties joined forces to remove him from office over a corruption scandal involving a former coalition partner, the far-right Freedom Party.
But Kurz has vowed to return, and his high standing in the polls might yet see him coming back to politics later.
