On violence during BJP chief Amit Shah’s rally in Bengal earlier this week, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman attacked West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. “Violence is excursively TMC characteristic. BJP is contesting in all the states and violence has happened only in Bengal,” she said. TMC workers in Bengal are going on rampage, she alleged. Eight seats in the state are voting in the seventh and last phase of national elections.
