At least three protesters and an officer were reportedly killed and several others were injured when unidentified elements opened fire on a sit-in protest outside Sudan’s military headquarters in Khartoum on Monday.
The incident came shortly after the ruling military council and protest leaders declared early Monday they had reached an agreement regarding the formation of a transitional government.
