Trials for a no-deal Brexit are underway at the UK’s busiest ports as
the clock ticks on towards the March deadline to leave the European Union.
For businesses that truck goods to and from continental Europe, the race is on to prepare for an increasingly likely “no-deal” scenario.
Roadworks have been suspended from February till the start of May and airports are being used to host a “lorry park” to keep roads from clogging, as part of a trial to prepare for the return of long customs checks.
