Imagine borrowing the eyes of someone on the other side of the world.
That’s what technology is now offering more than half a million Australians who are blind or vision impaired, via free, and paid apps on their smartphones.
Users are finding these services revolutionary, with some ranking them as important as the invention of Braille almost 200 years ago.
